Coven, A Witches Walk Tour:
The Garden District is known for being home to the Ultra Wealthy but it's also home the famous Mayfair Witches among others. Did you know some of New Orleans oldest families in the Uptown area have Witchcraft in their blood?
New Orleans is famous for its ghosts, vampires, and things that go bump in the night. When it comes to witches the main discussion is about TV series, books and movies filmed here on the subject. Until now the real witches have lived in obscurity. These are the ones who came long before the stories. These are the ones who healed and changed the lives of those who trusted their services.
On this 90-minute walking tour you will be guided by your very own local Living Legacy witch. You will discuss the history of witchcraft in the Garden District as well as see the film and literature sites. You will receive first-hand accounts of circles and spell casting as well as historical accuracies of familial lineages.
The tour begins at The Rink Shopping Center at 2727 Prytania Street and heads straight to the gates of Lafayette Cemetery where you will learn about our burial procedures and customs. (Note: Public Access to the cemetery in not allowed). We will then walk the Oak lined neighborhood streets as we showcase the mansions and gardens where the witches have lived and worked their craft. You will see the Mayfair Witches home; the Coven house and you will visit the homes of free and condemned witchcraft families.

New Orleans French Quarter Walking Tour
On this two-hour walking tour through the French Quarter, you will explore New Orleans’ colorful history, culture, and architecture. We will be by your side as we stroll through the oldest part of the city, originally called the Vieux Carre and explore Jackson Square, the original Place d’Armes. You will be engaged as we converse about the confluences of cultures and the stories of yesteryear. You will see the architecture and the oldest building in the entire Mississippi Valley. We will discuss the history of the Native Americans, enslaved, French, Spanish, Creole and mixed races who made this land home. Nowhere in New Orleans will you experience the pulse of the city like you will on this tour in the French Quarter.
The French Quarter Walking begins at 400 Esplanade Avenue in front of US Mint where we will begin our walk through the past with stories of our 300 plus years. You will see St Louis Cathedral, the most photographed church in the south, and you will visit the Mississippi River which is the reason New Orleans exists.
Whether it was legalized prostitution, the creation of jazz music, Mardi Gras parades, original cuisine, America’s first cocktails or floods and hurricanes we have always been in the headlines and those stories just scratch the surface. The full history of New Orleans could fill volumes and still never be told in full.
Walk along with our Living Legacy guide who can tell you the recent history firsthand and the old history through the words of their own ancestors who lived the history. History takes on a different feel when told by the people who have lived it.

Beyond the Grave: Cemetery Tour
See how we fit hundreds of people in tombs that are built for two and let us tell you the reasons why our cemeteries in New Orleans are known worldwide and are listed as one of the most visited places in America.
Sure, we are unique but that’s not the only reason people flock to visit our ancestors in their final resting places.
We are somewhat unusual in our “recycling and rotation” of our dead in our family tombs. Room for 2 coffins doesn’t stop us from burying hundreds in that same tomb. Yes, you read that right. Some hear the stories of what we do and think we are very macabre, but we are doing exactly what should be done.
We would love to show you our cities of the dead, as they are called. We would love to allow you to visit our actual family tombs and tell you, not only how we bury, but also the stories of who’s inside.
That’s how we keep the light on for our ancestors who are long gone. We do not allow their light to be extinguished. We never stop telling their stories.
For this hour and a half tour of one of our most beloved cemeteries we ask that you bring water and wear comfortable shoes. We also encourage you to bring a small rock or flower to leave behind in honor of those who have passed.
