Cemetery Tour of New Orleans

New Orleans cemeteries are unique in the “recycling and rotation” of our loved ones in our family tombs. Room for 2 coffins doesn’t stop us from burying hundreds in that same spot. Some think us macabre,

but are we?

On our cemetery tour we will show you around one of our cities of the dead, as they are called. We invite you to visit our actual family tombs as we tell you, about how we bury and the stories of those entombed.

We keep the light on for our ancestors by telling their stories. 

 

Your guide will be a New Orleanian that has ancestors buried in the cemetery you visit.
