Brambles n Bones is the second level of our Witches Coven journey, created for guests ready to move beyond the stories and begin exploring the principles and practices of the craft itself.

Walking through the Lower Garden District, you will discover how witchcraft can be expressed through continuity, collective protection, sanctuary, discernment, stewardship, symbolism, legacy, intuition, and sacred geography. Historic homes, gathering places, street art, family stories, and the landscape itself become opportunities to understand how a living tradition survives, adapts, protects its community, and passes knowledge from one generation to the next.

The experience culminates in historic Coliseum Square, where guests are introduced to our tradition of circle work and take part in a guided ritual centered on ancestry, the elements, intention, protection, and responsibility. Within our practice, the energy created through this work becomes part of an ongoing relationship with the square, the surrounding neighborhood, and New Orleans itself.

Brambles n Bones is intended for those with a genuine interest in exploring witchcraft beyond folklore and popular imagery. Completion of the Witches Coven Walking Tour is required before participating. Guests who complete Brambles n Bones become eligible for the third experience in the journey, Witches Crossing: Into the Circle.
